It seems as though Kevin Costner may have found love once more, following his painful divorce from his longtime wife Christine Baumgartner a few months ago.
Rumor has it that the Yellowstone actor
is dating singer Jewel; the two were recently seen together at a tennis event on Richard Branson’s Necker Island for the Inspiring Children Foundation.
The couple reportedly took a plane to the Caribbean together and spent over a week together, according to TMZ. Naturally, this comes after the commotion that Costner’s post-relationship court battle with the previously named Baumgartner produced.
Reportedly, Costner was surprised that his wife decided to file for divorce in May of this year. The terrible circumstances began to deteriorate from that point on.
Christine claimed “irreconcilable differences” when she filed for divorce in the beginning of May. They had been wed for eighteen years.
A representative for Costner released a statement, saying, “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond Mr. Costner’s control have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action.”
“We request that during this trying time, the privacy of him, Christine, and their children be respected.”
Costner and Baumgartner tied the knot in 2004. Their daughter, Grace, is twelve years old, and their brothers, Cayden, fifteen, and Hayes, fourteen.
After Baumgartner filed a lawsuit, she and Costner got into a heated argument. As a result, the former was forced to leave the family home in accordance with a prenuptial agreement, while the latter was ordered to pay $63,209 in child support each month.
It seems that there remains hope despite the fact that Costner’s trip has undoubtedly been a difficult one, full of sorrow, uncertainty, and a great deal of stress he could have avoided.
TMZ claims that Costner and US singer Jewel are romantically together. The couple traveled to the Caribbean together, as was previously mentioned, and a source said that “there was definitely something going on.” They both seemed to light up when they were together, and they were flirty.
Additionally, Jewel mentioned Costner on social media. Regarding the tennis fundraiser held on Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands, she said, “It’s an incredible time, and one I use to relax, rest, and play with my son!” @kevincostnermodernwest was so kind as to guide our children this year.
TMZ claims that Jewel and Costner returned together. Jewel is “picky,” a source claims, and “she wants a good man, and Kevin fits the bill.”
